The government has advised 000VIC that they are on track to receive approval of the new agreement within the next few weeks. As part of the review process there have been a few corrections identified which the unions are looking over.
000VIC has informed the unions that they plan to use an electronic ballot agency similar to the service that was used in the Victorian Public Service Agreement Ballot. Using an online ballot will be more efficient and reduce timeframes in getting the agreement certified the Fair Work Commission.
Dates for the vote will be subject to the timing of Government Approval.
