ESTA is taking expressions of interest from Call-takers who would like to multi-skill into Ambulance positions at Tally Ho and BalSECC.
This is a great news for Ambulance where AEAV Delegates have been advocating for increased Call-takers and improved opportunities for multi-skilling. Delegates will continue to advocate for multi-skilling both into and out of Ambulance for Call-takers.
From ESTA:
Applicants are required to be available to complete the training course and subsequent mentoring phase on a full-time basis. Team changes may be require for the mentoring phase of training and/or upon completion of training.
Selection will take into consideration the following:
- Consistent and satisfactory demonstration of ESTA’s values and behaviours
- Consistent performance targets achieved in current role
- Expected ability to successfully complete the necessary training; and
- Endorsement from the applicants respective Team Leader
Selection for this course may also be subject to operational availability.
Members can apply for multiskilling by providing ESTA a one-page document outlining their expression of interest, including why they believe they would make a great candidate.
Applications are to be submitted via ESTA’s Internal Careers Portal by midnight on Thursday the 7th of October 2021.
