A strong focus of AV’s response to the media when questioned about AV’s cultural issues in late 2020 was that the senior managers were unaware of the extent of the problem. The recently released Psychosocial Survey from 2109 shows that not only did they know the extent but that they were aware that the newly created PCU was failing to address the problem. The report was only released to staff after AEAV called on AV and then VEOHRC and the Health Minister to intervene.
To ensure the survey was seen by as few staff as possible it was released only on WorkPlace Thursday afternoon, just before Easter. Read the Exec summary below.
